Gateway to Paradise . . . The Roman Spa, the all-season resort of the Napa Valley, is in the charming historic town of Calistoga, California, nestled at the foot of Mt. St. Helena. Summers are lush, warm and sunny in the scenic upper Napa Valley. Spring, with its budding flowers, and autumn, with rows of vineyards bursting with fall color, are equally inviting and in the 70°s. You have many choices to fill your days.
At the Roman Spa, enjoy our large outdoor pool kept at a soothing 92° - 96°F (31 - 35°C), a large indoor spa at 100°F (37.5°C), a small outdoor spa at 104°F (40°C), and two Finnish saunas. All pools are filled with natural geothermal mineral water directly from the source.
Our pools are for the exclusive use of our lodging guests and children over the age of 4 years. These thermal waters are set amidst a villa setting of flower-filled patios, shady arbors, bubbling fountains, and serene sun-filled areas for your total relaxation and pleasure. Guest Amenities . . . All of our European-inspired accommodations feature air conditioning, color cable TV, refrigerators, wine glasses, hairdryers, data port phones, and daily maid service. For your health, the pool areas and all rooms are smoke free.
Standard Guest Rooms... Features either king, queen, or two queen beds, floral coverlets and dust ruffles, stylish cherry wood furnishings, and original artwork by wine country artist Helene Minnelli.
Whirlpool Guest Rooms... Feature a large 4' X 6' Roman tub, with plenty of room for two. Recharge in pure geothermal water piped directly from the source into the privacy of your room for a totally natural and soothing experience.
Kitchen Suites... Rooms with kitchens are equipped with a mid-sized refrigerator, table for four, cooktop, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, dinnerware, pots and pans (alas, no dishwasher).
Family Suites... A 2-room guest unit, with a full kitchen and a shared bath. One suite is available with a wallbed for added space.
