The historic National Hotel built in 1859, is one of the California Gold Country's oldest and finest continuously operated hotels. Located in the heart of Jamestown, the bed and breakfast inn hotel is filled with reminders of the gold rush era.

HOTEL ROOMS:
YOU WILL LOVE our nine award-winning restored hotel rooms; each with wonderful brass beds, patchwork quilts, lace curtains, friendly ghost and the feeling that lingers from the days when the hotel was in its first glory.
Each of our nine rooms is historical and unique unto itself. Rooms have either queen or twin size beds with top quality mattresses. All offer antiques, private bath, bath robes, hair dryer, pull chain toilet, tiled showers (some are his and hers), desk, private telephone with data port and unlimited local calls, wireless access, alarm clocks, steam iron and board, cable TV / VCR, air-conditioning, and heating.
All rooms have access to the Soaking Room - our 1800s version of the jacuzzi. An Antique claw-foot soaking tub built for two is available to all guests on a first come, first serve basis. Bath beads, crystals, music, towels and privacy are provided.
BREAKFAST:
A traditional buffet breakfast with our homemade breads, a basket of fresh fruit, sliced melons, assorted cereals, juices, hard-boiled eggs, toast, quiche, yogurt, freshly brewed coffee or assorted teas, and the morning paper.
ACTIVITIES:

Deposit Requirements - Reservations will be held 7 days pending receipt of full deposit, or may be guaranteed by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, and Discover credit cards.
Cancellation Policy - Since we do not overbook, cancellation notices must be received at least 72 hours prior to date of arrival to guarantee a full refund. Group bookings (five or more rooms) require a 30-day cancellation notice. Some special events require at least 30 days advance cancellation notice.
Check in time is from 2:00 p.m.
Check out is 12:00 noon.
